I have loved working with glass over the last five years, designing and making fused glass bowls, window and wall hangings, mirrors, jewellery and other glassware. Each piece is completely unique.
Ancient symbols occurring in nature such as spirals, labyrinths, and rainbows inspire my designs, plus a passion for colour and light. I often use dichroic glass to add a sparkle to the pieces.
A former performance artist, I have been told that my work is quite theatrical in the way I combine vibrant colours within the space of each piece.
I am always happy to take commissions, recently I have designed and made a set of kitchen tiles, a mural for a narrow-boat, and some bespoke bridal jewellery. I am currently making some windows for a barn conversion.
