Robert Fletcher Wildlife Artist has lived in Satterthwaite since the early 1970's, relocating from Accrington East Lancashire. He moved to work as a forest worker based at the Grizedale Forest Park.

Having painted and drawn from an early age Robert used the influences of his work place and the surrounding environment to create his own style of wildlife and landscape studies.

Roberts use of pencil and crushed pastel has been developed to reflect the forest scenes. Resulting in atmospheric images; of misty woodlands, colorful sunsets and spectacular sunrises.
