Core Gallery's highly considered and dynamic annual exhibition program strives to explore, excite and stimulate discussion. It provides exhibition space for contemporary work by both emerging and established artists and curators. The Gallery is an artist-led exhibition space, situated in one of Deptford’s thriving artist-run studio complexes. Deptford, in South East London, has rapidly grown to become one of London’s newest and most vibrant art landscapes. Core Gallery is poised to further enhance this.
Core Gallery’s location within a working studio complex fuels an energetic and productive atmosphere where the appreciation for exhibited work comes from makers and visitors alike. Studio members are a diverse range of artists from numerous countries around the globe, of different ages, and include graduates from colleges such as RCA and Goldsmiths. Core Gallery is part of the Cor Blimey Arts charitable cooperative.
