I make collagraphs and etchings with occasional forays into monoprint and mixed media. Most of my work is concerned with landscape and the built environment. Most of my pieces are derived from direct observation "plein air" but all are transformed to reflect what I may feel to be truer realities. The collagraphs particularly are often entirely imagined constructions employing a cubist aesthetic Thus I consider myself a realist rather than a naturalist artist.
I enjoy offering printmaking courses in etching, collagraph and monoprint. I have a portable 18" etching press which can be taken to venues lacking such technology- Events
