Peachworkstudio is the on-line gallery of wood sculptor Gordon Adams

Profile

The website shows figurative sculptures, mostly in wood, ranging from semi-abstract nudes to interpretations of bible scenes.
Also there are pages which give some insight into the processes and tools used. Sculpting in wood is very different from sculpting in clay or plaster, but I feel the end results are worth the extra effort. Nicely finished wood just begs you to touch it, and the grain patterns can add a whole new dimension to the form.
Even if you're not interested buying original artworks, I hope you will find something of interest in the galleries.

Events

if you are interested in anything on these pages I can do a straight copy, or a variation on a theme.
I also undertake commissions - these could be based on a photograph, or I could sketch out some intereptations of the vaguest notions...
I exhibit mostly in the North London area, with Harrow Art Society, and the British Woodcarvers Association.
