I paint portraits and murals taking great pride in my attention to detail in order to truly capture the character of the subject and, for my animals, also the amazing textures. In both, I create lively images with exceptional depth and likeness.

I am inspired by texture and colour – the shadows cast in a face, the movement of fur, or the beautiful patterns in our environment, often using paint finish techniques in my work.

I enjoy working closely with clients to find the perfect format for the subject or subjects - a pencil sketch or a painting, a head and shoulders' image or a depiction of a favourite family photo. In my murals, I use my design background to create original pieces of work.
